Essential Duties and Scope of Work

  • Setting the strategic direction for cardiovascular services.
  • Developing and implementing business plans to support the continued growth and success of the division, its network affiliates and all participating hospitals.
  • Establish marketing programs that enhance the awareness and preference for services among key internal and external customer constituencies.
  • Develop new and enhance existing inpatient and outpatient clinical programs and services to achieve growth opportunities commensurate with available or planned expansion of capacity.
  • Develop Cardiovascular Outreach Strategies that collaborate with community health care providers to offer complex cardiovascular diagnostic services and treatments.
  • Establishing and leading a cohesive organizational and governance structure that supports the Clients objectives.
  • Ensuring the financial viability of cardiovascular initiatives.
  • Establishing teamwork and collaborative relationships with various departments and managers within the hospitals.
  • Engaging and supporting medical and interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, cardiovascular surgeons, and other specialists as integral parts of the development of the service line.
  • Designing, planning and implementing programs that promote the mission to improve the health of the communities served.
  • Developing, communicating, implementing and monitoring standardized metrics of success for the cardiovascular service line.
  • Ensuring the provision of quality care and standardized, efficient operations through strong working relationships with physicians and administrative leaders.
  • Providing leadership and responsibility for system initiatives for clinical integration and physician alignment.
  • Developing and implementing new models of care and clinical integration in support of Client’s System’s desire to grow and meet mission and objectives.
  • Develop financially viable business and organizational models that balance and align the Interests of the system and those of the division, thereby achieving maximum flexibility for program development.
  • Business Plan development of an Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) with services to include: Project Management, Regulatory Compliance, Policy and Procedure Development, Efficient protocols, All regulatory filings necessary to open.
  • Financial Pro Forma, Training with Mock Surveys and Assistance with obtaining Accreditation.
